Recently Google has updated their search results based on the punctuation search, it means when users search for the query ‘#’ you get the results. This was announced by the Google officials that Google start showing search results for specific punctuation symbols.

Earlier Google usually ignores punctuations and mathematical symbols from users searched queries because Google doesn’t indexed them but now they make changes in their punctuation index algorithm to make these symbol based results get indexed.

Two days back we start noticed that Google showing results based when users searched punctuation symbols. Example – Results when we search # 
If you believe in yourself search below mentioned punctuation and symbol to review the results -

1.  [$]- Dollar symbol
2.  [,]- Comma
3.  [:]- Colon
4.  [;]- Semicolon
5.  [~]- Tilde
6.  [%]- Percent
7.  [@]- At the

11. [|]- Vertical Bar
12. ["]- Quotes
13. [<] Less than/Greater Than
14. [.]- Full Stop

20. [+]-  Plus sign
21. [‘]- Apostrophe

Through this way Google added more results on their database. Do some search and feel the update.
